Bush Sets Budget Plan

President Bush has sent his budget to Congress for approval. As part of the plan there will be many cuts to existing programs in order to continue discretionary spending. The plan also calls for a 5% increase in defense spending. According to the White House the budget deficit will shrink to $207 billion by 2010.
