Dow Sinks 125 Points
The Dow Jones Industrial average fell 125 points today as the bears over took the bulls. This seems to be the norm for 2005 thus far. Investors went on a buying spree after the November election, pushing stocks to new highs, but have since continued to sell off stocks causing many average investors to see their portfolio balance only shrink. The only good thing about the sell off is it may pose as a great buying opportunity for value investors, however, the looming thought always is, "Have we finally hit bottom?"
That is the million dollar question..."Have We Finally Hit Bottom?"
My guess is that we have not, and the real question then becomes..."Do I sell now, and cut my losses, or hang on for the ride, and hope the stocks in my portfolio recover?"
The second question really becomes the million dollar question. And if anyone has the answer...Please share with all us in the comment section of this post.
