Real Estate Continues to Defy Odds
A report released by the National Association of Realtors continues to support the notion that the real estate boom is far from over. According to the report home appreciation in 62 of 129 metropolitan markets from the fourth quarter of 2003 to the fourth quarter of 2004 saw double digit increases. The national median price for a home in the fourth quarter of 2004 was up 8.8% to $187,000.
